Who it suits

People who need low latency across mixed carriers but whose budget stops short of GIA.

Who it does not suit: Heavy-transfer users — the Osaka line's allowance is tighter than the US West plans.

  • It is not the same thing as BandwagonHost’s other datacenters

The official price list lists the OSAKA series on its own: outbound is CN2 GIA/CTG plus Unicom and Mobile, return path is CN2 GIA. The Japan datacenter of the CN2 GIA ECOMMERCE series is listed as Softbank IP transit 2.5 Gbps — the two product lines route completely differently, so do not read them as one.

  • Prices follow the official site

On the official price list, OSAKA 40G starts at $139.99 per quarter — checked on 2026-10-25. Restocks and promotions still move it, so read the live price on the link.

Questions

Does it run Softbank or CN2?

The official catalogue has both, in different product lines: the OSAKA CN2 GIA series has inbound CN2 GIA/CTG plus Unicom and Mobile with outbound CN2 GIA, while the CN2 GIA ECOMMERCE line's Japan location specifies 2.5 Gbps Softbank transit. Check the product id before you order.

Osaka or US West GIA?

Osaka for lower latency, US West for bandwidth and transfer. Osaka is closer and faster, but its allowances are tighter.
