Route Party Buy the route, not the specs

About

A VPS buying guide written for Chinese beginners: what the routes mean, how to verify them, and which one your broadband should buy.

What this site is for

When people buy a VPS, most get stuck at the same point: they know they want "something cheap", but they do not know what makes the cheap one cheap.

Specs are easy to read; routes are not. A vendor writes "CN2 optimised", "three-network return path" or "premium network", and you have no idea what those words are worth at peak hour — so you decide from the sales page and someone else's screenshot.

This site does exactly one thing: make routes legible. What each common route is, who it suits, how to verify it yourself, and what to check before you pay.

What we do and do not do

We do: explain routes, give you verification methods, keep a merchant shortlist, and work out what things actually cost.

We do not: act as a reseller, handle payments, provide any configuration or node details, or take payment to change a ranking.

The order of the merchant list reflects only whether a route and a use case match — never the commission. Some vendor links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission, but it does not change a single position.

Where the data comes from

Route scores are editorial ratings out of 5. They express roughly what level a route sits at; they are not measurements. ASN and segment information comes from public routing data.

Vendor prices are typical tiers at the time of writing, and each one carries the date it was checked. Promotions change daily, so treat the live price on each vendor's site as the real one — we promise no price, and we will not use a stale one to pull you in.

Anything we have not verified is written as "unknown". We do not guess.

How to reach us

If a price is stale, a vendor has folded, or a route description is wrong, please say so. Tell us which route, which vendor, and when you found it — we will verify it and fix the page.

Corrections are always taken, regardless of where they come from.
